Recently, RLE was asked to be the featured designer for the first of the Preservation Society of Charleston’s “This Plate Matters” summer supper series. We couldn’t have been more excited to be a part of such a great cause. The dinner took place downtown at the circa 1800’s ‘Old Trolley Barn’, future home of The American College of Building Arts. Tara Derr Webb of Farmbar wowed guests with a fresh and creative menu of Carolina shrimp and ripe peaches while the sounds of bluegrass from the Bluestone Ramblers played in the summer breeze. The music and fun lasted long into the night as guests enjoyed ‘Sugar-Boo’ ice cream sandwiches and an announcement that the ‘Old Trolley Barn’ was to be taken off the list of Seven to Save thanks to such a beautifully successful evening.
